Fluidmatic D2 wordt aanbevolen voor automatische of semi-automatische transmissies en koppelomvormers van personenauto’s, lichte bedrijfsvoertuigen en industriële voertuigen, wanneer de fabrikant een automatische transmissievloeistof (ATF) van het type GM DEXRON® IID voorschrijft.
Fluidmatic D2 wordt ook aanbevolen voor hydrostatische transmissies en stuurbekrachtigingssystemen.
Fluidmatic D2 wordt tevens aanbevolen voor hydraulische systemen wanneer een vloeistof van het type GM DEXRON® IID vereist is.
