CARTER ALS has been specially designed for lubricating enclosed gears: level and spur gears, bearing and gear coupling, worm gears. CARTER ALS is designed for use in systems of aluminium rolling mills when a contamination of the rolling fluids with a conventional lubricant could result in staining problems on the finished foils after annealing. CARTER ALS is formulated with non staining base oils and specific non staining additives. CARTER ALS provides the non staining performances required for the aluminium rolling mills. Using CARTER ALS reduces the potential of production rejects. CARTER ALS exhibits very good extreme pressure and anti wear properties for an efficient protection of lubricated parts. Its resistance to oxidation and degradation leads to longer oil service life. CARTER ALS has a good resistance to foaming and emulsion formation. CARTER ALS has been formulated for aluminium but, it can also be used for steel or yellow metal rolling mills.
